These are important! They aren't just important, they are vital when creating a sustainable, health lifestyle! As we all know, movement, not just intentional exercise, is a huge part of our health. So how do we get more movement if we don't have time for a walk or a workout? It's the little things... and they add up! One little thing we all can do, today and tomorrow and every day, is to park our car farther away from our destination. No more circling the lot to find the closest spot, squeezing into a tight space just to cut down the walk. Park farther away! Here's the harder part.... Park far even if you're going to Costco, Target, or the grocery store! Park farther even if it's raining or cold! Park farther even if you're buying a heavy item or pushing two carts! Do it every single time, not just when it's convenient, if you want to create a habit. This is key! Yes, it may feel annoying at first, but once it's a habit, you won't even notice…because it’s become habit! :)
